When Mike Wexler, one of the principals at Fotoboyz turned 50 it was time to really pull out all the stops. Mike, is a total 80’s person (he kind of still dresses that way:) This is an awesome theme for a party! It’s so easy, all the iconic music, the big hair, the neon colors, MTV…the list goes on and on.
This was a surprise party so we ordered lime green and purple track suit for the guest of honor to wear. All the other invitees showed up in their 80’s finest get ups. A preppy couple, a Brett Michaels Poison wannabe, Big should pads & even The classic Devo outfits….it all works!
We also created a custom backdrop for guests to take selfies in front of. DJ Alex was on point with all the finest music of the era but also threw some current top 40 and no party is complete with some Frank Sinatra just for added fun.
To keep in the theme with food, it was catered from local deli Flakowitz.
All the moments were captured by the fotoboyz team on hand with the LED Roving Photo Booth both instant social media sharing via email and text and also printed 4×6 photos with a custom border.
The night ended with a video montage all through the life and times of Mike Wexler and his big 80’s hairdo. Happy Birthday Mike. Can’t wait to pul off an amazing 60th Bash!
