Due To CoVid-19 outbreak,The Fotoboyz Events team is at a standstill….. Our chief graphic designer Jason Koeppel – a huge NY sports fanatic – was totally bored and trying to find a way to connect with his followers and create something huge!
Hence the Covid-19 Photo Mosaic Challenge was born. Jay is co-owner of NYSF Magazine (@NYSFmag) which has a huge social media following of NY Jets fans.
He sent out a simple post:
And Amazingly it got retweeted by some of the big influencers and Jets fans responded quickly submitting hundreds of photos. We took their individual images and created a super cool Photo Mosaic Experience
The Fans LOVED it!
It really resonated with people…..
It was so well received Jay, did a second version with Plantation, Florida’s own Robby Anderson. This one had even better engagement. It even caught the attention of Robby’s mother Kim, a nurse on the hospital front lines in Orlando. We decided rather than sell her the printed photo mosaic, we would ask her donate the money to her hospital to buy much needed masks and other PPE for the staff.
That made this little fun project a win for all parties!!
It’s very cool when you can take a horrible situation, take someone with talent to make the things just a bit better. Great job Jay!
