Over 9,000 people attended the Winterfest in Wellington, FL on Friday December 8, 2017. Fotoboyz was thrilled to work with Michela Green of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce (https://www.wellingtonchamber.com) to be at this year’s event again!!
Entrance to the massive festival, held annually at the Wellington Amphitheatre, is free but attendees are encouraged to bring unwrapped toys for Little Smiles (https://www.littlesmiles.org). This great organization has donated more than 2 million toys to children in local hospitals!!
The driving force behind the success of the donations at Winterfest–he actually takes the toys to the kids himself, is rapper Vanilla Ice (vanillaice.com). A long time resident of Wellington, Vanilla Ice has been a part of Winterfest for 8 years and donates his time to the festival every year. His performance is by far the main draw of the event!! However, a lot more takes place at Winterfest including the lighting of the Village of Wellington Christmas Tree, performances by local musicians and dancers, and a kids corner that included a giant Zip Line and obstacle course.
Michela really wanted to make the Kid’s Corner a special attraction this year. While the Zip Line and obstacle course drew the kids in, Fotoboyz fun games held their attention throughout the night. We had Giant Foosball, Giant Twister, Pop Shots Basketball, and LED Ping Pong set up. Kids had a BLAST playing these games with their friends and families!!
We also had the ever popular Inflatable Snow Globe Photo Booth set up for kids and adults to jump around inside with artificial snow and fun Christmas props. Fotoboyz captured the HUGE smiles and unlimited fun guests had in the Snow Globe!! We printed the photos on site for guests to take home and remember what it’s like to actually be inside a Snow Globe!! They were able to share the fun with family members and friends across the country by sharing their photos via our Social Media Sharing Station through email, text, or Social Media.
The new super cool housing community, ArdenFL (https://ardenfl.com/location/), that is being built off Southern Blvd in Wellington sponsored the Snow Globe. This community features energy efficient, green homes as well as a community garden, miles of trails, and numerous first class amenities for homeowners. With their custom logo in the center of the Snow Globe and around the base of it, they were literally a HUGE hit at WInterfest!!! What a great way for them to reach the community, especially with their custom logo on the printed photo strips and photos shared via social media. Fotoboyz loves working with great clients such as ArdenFL to help give their brand visibility and marketing in a way that also serves the community!
Fotoboyz also had the Social Media Sharing Station set up at the LED Inflatable Photo Booth sponsored by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital (https://www.jdch.com). This booth looked GREAT at the nighttime event!! The LED uplighting attracted crowds all night who used the super fun Holiday themed props to create photos inside the Inflatable Booth. We printed the 4×6 photos, also with a customized border, for all the guests in the photos to take home and remember the awesome time they had at Winterfest!!!
